WORKING PRINCIPLE:
The wastewater is directed into the gas-liquid contact reaction zone of our advanced air flotation machine by the inlet pump. In this zone, the gas-liquid mixer generates microbubbles that cause oil droplets, suspended solids, and other contaminants to adhere to the bubbles. These pollutants are then transported to the water surface in the separation zone, forming scum.
The purified water overflows through the overflow weir and exits via the outlet pipe, while the surface scum is effectively scraped off by the slag scraper into the scum collection pool.
The scum is then transported out by a screw conveyor. Continuous scraping is feasible, but intermittent scraping is preferred to reduce scum moisture content, minimize scum volume, lessen water body interference, and stabilize effluent quality.
ADVANTAGES:
Advantage 1 of our dissolved air flotation machine: it features a short residence time, no backflow, and a compact footprint. The hydraulic retention time during the flotation process ranges between 20 to 30 minutes.
Advantage 2 of our dissolved air flotation machine: it boasts a simple structure, ease of operation, and minimal maintenance requirements. The primary control parameter is the speed of the gas-liquid mixer, and its console can be centrally controlled indoors, simplifying operations compared to more complex dissolved air systems.
Dissolved air flotation machine has three advantages: low energy consumption and minimal investment. For example, an air flotation machine designed for a 100m3/h sewage treatment scale typically requires only one gas-liquid mixer with a power of approximately 0.75kW. In contrast, conventional systems involve multiple components including a return water pump, air compressor, dissolved gas tank, and associated pipelines, leading to higher investment and energy consumption.
