Utilizing an advanced dissolved and release gas system, this state-of-the-art equipment generates a multitude of fine bubbles that are introduced into the water. These fine bubbles adhere to solid or liquid particles within the wastewater, which have a similar density, effectively reducing their overall density. WORKING PRINCIPLE:
The sewage is channeled into the gas-liquid contact reaction zone of the air flotation machine via the water inlet pump. In this zone, the gas-liquid mixer creates a plethora of microbubbles. These microbubbles attract oil droplets, suspended solids, and other contaminants in the water, adhering them to the bubbles. Subsequently, the pollutants are carried to the surface in the separation zone, forming scum.
The cleansed sewage then overflows through the overflow weir and is discharged from the outlet pipe. Meanwhile, the scum on the surface of the air flotation machine is swept off by the slag scraper, directing it into the scum pool.
The scum is then transported out by a screw conveyor. While continuous scum scraping is possible, intermittent scraping is preferred to minimize the moisture content and volume of the scum, reduce interference with the water body, and stabilize the effluent quality.
ADVANTAGES:
Advantage 1 of the dissolved air flotation machine: Quick processing with a brief residence time, eliminating the need for backflow water and requiring minimal space. The hydraulic retention time during the flotation process is approximately 20~30 minutes.
Advantage 2 of the dissolved air flotation machine: User-friendly with a simple structure, making it easy to operate and maintain. The primary control parameter is the speed of the gas-liquid mixer. The system's console can be installed indoors for centralized control, although the dissolved air system in dissolved air flotation is more complex.
Dissolved air flotation machine boasts three key advantages: Low energy consumption and investment. For a sewage treatment scale of 100m3/h, one gas-liquid mixer with a power consumption of about 0.75kW suffices. In contrast, a conventional pressure dissolved gas flotation cell system includes a return water pump, air compressor, dissolved gas tank, release group, and numerous pipelines, resulting in high investment and energy consumption.
