Longantai water treatment and purification activated balls, which are white, spherical, porous particles with uniform size, smooth surface, high mechanical strength, and strong hygroscopicity. They do not swell or crack after absorbing water and retain their original shape. The product is non-toxic, odorless, tasteless, and insoluble in water and organic solvents.
These activated balls are used as defluoridation agents for water containing fluoride, functioning as a molecular adsorbent with a large specific surface area. When the pH value and alkalinity of the raw water are relatively low, the defluoridation capacity is higher, exceeding 4.0 mg/g.
The typical particle sizes are 1-3 mm, 2-4 mm, and 3-5 mm. During use, they provide a large contact area with water, with a specific surface area index reaching over 280 m²/g. The large number of micropores ensures a strong adsorption capacity for fluoride ions in water and a high defluoridation capacity.
