Product Description

The core of the autotrophic denitrification technology is the Fe-S coupled biological carrier independently developed by Long Antai. The biological carrier is composed of Fe-S nano-micronuclei and alkalinity load, which has a large specific surface area and high efficiency. Its working principle is that in an anaerobic environment, the denitrifying bacteria use Fe-S nano-micronuclei as electron donors, nitro pollutants such as NO3- and NO2- as electron acceptors, and inorganic carbon (CO2, HCO3-, CO32-) as metabolic carbon sources to convert pollutants such as NO3- and NO2- in wastewater into N2; the alkalinity load is evenly distributed inside the pore volume of the coupled biological carrier, which can form a synergistic mechanism with the Fe-S nano-micronuclei, effectively balance the pH of the denitrification process, and achieve self-sustaining alkalinity activity in the water environment; at the same time, the introduction of Fe-S nano-micronuclei can effectively promote the metabolic coupling of microorganisms, realize the self-activation of the denitrification reaction process, and ultimately achieve efficient, continuous and stable denitrification.
