WORKING PRINCIPLE:
The innovative sewage treatment process begins when the wastewater is introduced into the gas-liquid contact reaction zone of the air flotation machine by the inlet pump. Here, the gas-liquid mixer generates abundant microbubbles, which adhere to oil droplets, suspended solids, and other contaminants. These contaminants are then carried to the surface in the separation zone, forming a layer of scum.
The clarified sewage flows over the overflow weir and exits through the outlet pipe. Meanwhile, the surface scum is efficiently scraped off by the slag scraper and collected in the scum pool.
Subsequently, the scum is transported out by a screw conveyor. Although continuous scraping is possible, intermittent scraping is recommended to minimize scum moisture content, reduce scum volume, minimize water body interference, and maintain stable effluent quality.
ADVANTAGES:
Advantage 1 of the dissolved air flotation machine is its short residence time, absence of backflow water, and compact footprint. During the flotation process, the hydraulic retention time ranges from just 20 to 30 minutes.
Advantage 2 of the dissolved air flotation machine lies in its simple structure, ease of operation, and low maintenance requirements. The primary control parameter is the speed of the gas-liquid mixer, which can be managed through an indoor console for centralized control. This contrasts with the more complex operation of a conventional dissolved air flotation system.
Dissolved air flotation machine boasts three distinct advantages: low energy consumption, reduced investment costs, and efficiency. For instance, an air flotation machine designed for treating 100m3/h of sewage requires just one gas-liquid mixer with a power rating of about 0.75kW. In contrast, conventional pressure dissolved gas flotation cells necessitate a more complex ensemble of return water pumps, air compressors, dissolved gas tanks, release groups, and supporting pipelines, leading to higher investment and energy consumption.
