Our high-efficiency Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) machine represents the pinnacle of innovation in wastewater treatment. Primarily designed for both solid-liquid and liquid-liquid separation, this advanced system generates a multitude of fine bubbles through a sophisticated dissolved and release gas mechanism. WORKING PRINCIPLE:
Our advanced air flotation machine revolutionizes wastewater treatment with its innovative gas-liquid contact reaction area. Sewage is introduced into this zone where our high-efficiency gas-liquid mixer creates microbubbles. These microbubbles attract oil droplets, suspended solids, and other contaminants, elevating them to the water surface in the separation zone to form scum for easy removal.
The purified water then gracefully overflows through the designed overflow weir, exiting via the outlet pipe. Concurrently, the scum on the air flotation machine's surface is expertly scraped off by a slag scraper, efficiently directing it into the scum collection pool.
The scum is then transported out using a robust screw conveyor. For optimal results, intermittent scraping is recommended to minimize scum moisture content, reduce volume, decrease water interference, and ensure consistent effluent quality.
ADVANTAGES:
Advantage 1 This dissolved air flotation machine boasts a minimal residence time, eliminating the need for backflow water and occupying a small footprint. During operation, the hydraulic retention period is approximately 20 to 30 minutes, ensuring swift and efficient flotation.
Advantage 2 Designed for simplicity, this machine offers straightforward operation and maintenance. The key control parameter is the gas-liquid mixer speed, which can be centrally managed indoors. However, the dissolved air system operation in traditional machines is typically more complex.
Dissolved air flotation machine has three advantages: low energy consumption and low investment. For instance, an air flotation machine catering to a 100m³/h wastewater treatment scale requires just one gas-liquid mixer with a power requirement of around 0.75kW. In contrast, conventional dissolved gas systems necessitate multiple components like return water pumps, air compressors, and dissolved gas tanks, leading to higher static and dynamic equipment needs, significant investment, and greater energy consumption.
